Tuuri creek

This is a creek floating near the Keskinen Residence. Taken from a bridge.

Old train

This train stands on the yard of an old railway station in Tuuri, Töysä. You can actually spend a night in the carriage. As you can see, this photo is overcoloured...in purpose. I think it came out kind of neat.

Alvar Aalto Lamps

These are some lamps in the yard of Lakeuden Risti church. This is architecture by famous finnish Alvar Aalto. There is a full center of buildings designed by him. All of them are located on a small area and that is why it is called the Alvar Aalto Center. There is a church, library, town hall, theater and a government office building.

Keskinen residence

I guess nowadays almost everyone in Finland knows Tuuri and the "Biggest Village Shop in Finland" Veljekset Keskinen. Veljekset Keskinen is a large department store in the town of Töysä. The area where it is located is Tuuri. The shop has it's own reality television series and the owner Vesa Keskinen is a celebrity. The shop uses the term "miljoona", "million" in different events like the Miljoona Rock (rock festival), Miljoona Tivoli (funfair), Miss Miljoona (Beauty contest), Miljoona Pilkki (fishing contest) etc... This is the residence of the owner mr. Vesa Keskinen.

Lake in the evening

 This is again from kyrkösjärvi. At last I had some time to go out with the camera at sunset. Red sunset sky and calm water make a nice mix. Now we have some colors :-)

Gun powder laboratory

Here is another well. The house behind it is one of the buildings in the Törnävä museum area. It is said to be a "propeeri, proberingshus", gun powder laboratory.  It was built in 1829.  

Blue lake

This is taken from the top of "Kyrkösvuori". There we have a bird watching tower or an observation tower, whatever we would like to call it. This solid rock can be seen on the left side of this photo I've posted earlier. The sun was shining and the sky wasl blue. This is how I saw it.
